Greece is one of the most popular honeymoon destinations. It’s mix of history, culture, great food, stunning beaches and breath-taking Mediterranean views make it easy to see why. Check out my perfect two-week honeymoon itinerary below.
Two Nights in Athens
Athens is a beautiful history with a monumental history. Spend two days in Athens and travel back in time at the Acropolis and its new museum. Stay at the modern and artsy New Hotel, a Design Hotel, just a ten-minute walk from the Parthenon.
Four Nights in Santorini
Spend four magical nights in Santorini. This island is full of white and blue towns that are everything that you’ve ever drooled over on Instagram. Santorini offers amazing caldera sunsets, delicious seafood and beautiful beaches. You can even choose black or red sand! Spend an amazing day sailing around the island or watch the sunset at one of Santorini’s vineyards. Stay at the clifftop Astra Suites in Imerovigli for the ultimate luxury.
Two Nights in Naxos
If you are a sunseeker or beach bum, head to Naxos for the best beaches in Greece. Naxos is a laid-back island with a hilly interior. While exploring Naxos, you can still find off the beaten path beaches and villas which is increasingly rare on the Greek Isles. Stay at beach front Naxian on the Beach for gorgeous villas and a beautiful sandy beach. This is the perfect follow up to Santorini’s cliffside drama.
Four Nights in Mykonos
After two romantic islands, Mykonos is a great way to end your honeymoon with its a more upbeat party atmosphere. A day tour to nearby Delos is a great way to experience more of the Greek history you saw in Athens. Stay at the stunning Mykonos Grand, a Small Luxury Hotel of World, for five-star luxury on the beach of Ayios Yiannis.
